Head to the Starting Line at Kinder Farm Park’s Turkey Trot on Nov. 16

If you’re having difficulty sticking to a workout routine this fall, maybe it’s time to set a new fitness goal for yourself. Sign up for the Turkey Trot at Kinder Farm Park on Saturday, November 16th. The racecourse spans a 5K route, offering a challenge for newbie runners and a fun jaunt for more seasoned athletes.

The path meanders around Kinder Farm Park along its paved paths, promising pretty views of the autumn flora along the way. If you don’t feel up to completing at 5K, you can opt instead to participate in the one-mile walk. Whereas the 5K registration fee is $35 for adults, the one-mile walk will only run you $20, regardless of your are. Taking part in either race is a great way to enjoy extra time with family and friends as you squeeze in some outdoor exercise before the winter chill descends.
