Oscar’s Alehouse Brings Updated Bar Fare to Pasadena
November 23, 2020
With more than 36 craft beers showcasing local breweries, Oscar’s Alehouse is a new kind of bar. Really, “bar” makes for an inaccurate term to describe it, as their traditional American fare makes for hefty dining options, far more than you’d find at a standard bar. Joined with their focus on local drafts, a visit to Oscar’s Alehouse can truly reimagine your image of a bar. Outdated bar bites have been replaced with new versions of the classics—pizzas, sandwiches, crispy wings, spicy calamari, and Southwest eggrolls, among other tasty selections.
Oscar’s Alehouse has been open on Governor Ritchie Highway for just a short time, but visitors are sharing their enthusiasm. With unanimous acclaim for their extensive offerings of craft beers, customers are generally thrilled with their plates, as well as their pints. From chicken Chesapeake and open-faced meatloaf sandwiches to jambalaya and fried grouper, their menu is clearly an expansive one. As one Yelp reviewer explains, “We are very glad to have a new restaurant in the neighborhood. Everything we had tonight we’d order again although there are plenty more things I want to try on our next visit…. See you again soon!”
